| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Workers' Compensation Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 18 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (820 ILCS 305/18) (from Ch. 48, par. 138.18)

| 7 | | Sec. 18.
All questions arising under this Act, if not |
| 8 | | settled by
agreement of the
the parties interested therein, |
| 9 | | shall, except as otherwise
provided, be determined by the |
| 10 | | Commission. Claims from current and former employees of the |
| 11 | | Commission shall be determined in accordance with Section 18.1 |
| 12 | | of this Act. |
