Creates the Anti-Click Gambling Data Analytics Collection Act. Provides that no entity that operates a remote gambling platform or a subsidiary of the entity shall collect data from a participant with the intent to predict how the participant will gamble in a particular gambling or betting scenario. Effective immediately.

1 | | AN ACT concerning gaming.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
5 | | Anti-Click Gambling Data Analytics Collection Act. |
6 | | Section 5. Definitions. As used in this Act, "remote |
7 | | gambling" means gambling in which persons participate by the |
8 | | use of remote communication, such as the Internet, telephone, |
9 | | television, radio, or any other kind of electronic or other |
10 | | technology for facilitating communication. |
11 | | Section 10. Data collection prohibited. An entity that |
12 | | operates a remote gambling platform or a subsidiary of the |
13 | | entity shall not collect data from a participant with the |
14 | | intent to predict how the participant will gamble in a |
15 | | particular gambling or betting scenario.

16 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
17 | | becoming law.
