SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Maxine A. Prochnow, formerly of
4Bloomington, who passed away on December 21, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Maxine Prochnow was born on January 8, 1933; she
6married Dr. Richard Prochnow, and they were a loving couple for
760 years before his passing; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Maxine Prochnow worked for Purina before her
9marriage and then started her life's work in service as the
10wife of a pastor, which spanned 50 years and five different
11congregations; and
 
12    WHEREAS, After her retirement, Maxine Prochnow enjoyed the
13fellowship of and serving in her local church, Grace Tabernacle
14of Brooksville, Florida; throughout her life, her advice and
15care helped inspire and comfort many people; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Maxine Prochnow was preceded in death by her
17husband; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Maxine Prochnow is survived by her children, Jeff
19Prochnow, DeeAnn Stoll, and Todd (Brittney) Prochnow, and her
20sisters, Alene Whisman, Carol (Joseph) Bansch, and Jan (Dennis)

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Maxine A. Prochnow and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Maxine Prochnow as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
