2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Harriett M. Mowrey of Stockland, who |
4 | | passed away on December 7, 2020; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Harriett Mowrey was born to Lee M. and Mae (Baser) |
6 | | Callahan in Watseka on September 12, 1940; she married Maynard |
7 | | G. Mowrey on November 7, 1960; and
|
8 | | WHEREAS, Harriett Mowrey was a member of the Milford |
9 | | Christian Church and taught Sunday School for 12 years; she was |
10 | | also a member of the Stockland Township Board for 27 years, the |
11 | | Milford Library Board for 14 years, the Iroquois County Board |
12 | | for 17 years, the Iroquois Memorial Hospital Board for 12 |
13 | | years, and the 911 Board for four years; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Harriett Mowrey was preceded in death by her |
15 | | parents; her husband; and one grandson, Caleb Mowrey; and
|
16 | | WHEREAS, Harriett Mowrey is survived by her three sons, Jim |
17 | | (Debra) Mowrey, Ty (Trish) Mowrey, and Jon (Tracy) Mowrey; |
18 | | eleven grandchildren, Jaime (Darren) Bakken, Jennifer Mowrey, |
19 | | Shane (Beka) Lavicka, Amie Lavicka, Ashlie Lavicka, Cody |
20 | | Mowrey, Caley Mowrey, Cassidy Mowrey, Charlee Mowrey, Jakki |
21 | | Mowrey, and Hunter Mowrey; four great-grandchildren, Caden, |
