SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Douglas "Doug" R. Peden of Bloomington,
4who passed away on September 6, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Doug Peden was born to Ray and Catherine Claggett
6Peden in Bloomington on January 11, 1947; he graduated from
7Bloomington High School and served in the U.S. Army; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Doug Peden worked as a truck driver for Conway
9Trucking for 23 years; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Doug Peden loved to hunt and ride his Harley; he
11enjoyed spending time with his family and being a part of his
12grandchildren's lives; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Doug Peden is survived by his mother; his five
14children, Douglas Peden, Heather (John) Needles, Jeremy
15(Ashley) Peden, Adam (Amy) Peden, and Christopher Peden; his
16brother, George Peden; his sister, Mary Carson; his 12
17grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; and his two
18nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
