SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frederick "Fred" L. Wade of Bloomington,
4who passed away on August 14, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Wade was born to Emmet and Florence Panneitz
6Wade in Bloomington on September 3, 1934; he married Constance
7"Connie" J. Brucker in Metropolis on November 27, 1953; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Fred Wade worked as a Bloomington firefighter for
931 years until his retirement in 1991; he was also employed by
10State Farm Insurance as a printing press operator for 27 years;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Fred Wade was a lifelong member of Trinity
13Lutheran Church in Bloomington, where he was the president of
14the 50+ senior club for many years and was involved with the
15church's Boy Scout Troop 38; he was also a member of the
16Bloomington/Normal Retired Firefighters; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Fred Wade was preceded in death by his parents;
18his son, Steven Wade; his sisters, Connie Jean Scheller and
19Donna Wade; and his brother, Ron Wade; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Fred Wade is survived by his loving wife of 66

1years, Connie; his children, Terri Sue (Charles) Daugherty,
2Randall Wade, and Rebecca Wade; his daughter-in-law, Nancy
3Wade; his grandchildren, Bradley (Kathy) Wade, Megan Wade, Kyle
4Daugherty, Jared Daugherty, Jacob Rush, and Henry Rush; his
5great-grandchildren, Emma Wade and Austin Wade; and his sister,
6Shirley Brucker; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Frederick "Fred" L. Wade and extend our sincere condolences to
10his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Fred Wade as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
