SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kenneth "Bobo" Pamson of Bloomington, who
4passed away on August 26, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ken Pamson was born in East Peoria to Phillip and
6Eva Pamson on March 10, 1931; he married Loretta Donaldson in
71978, and they were inseparable until her death in April 2020;
8he was extremely proud to have served his country in the U.S.
9Marine Corps during the Korean War; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Ken Pamson worked as a semi driver for O'Neill
11Brothers until his retirement; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Ken Pamson enjoyed camping, golfing, playing
13bocce ball, shooting pool, and dancing; he cherished spending
14time with his family and quiet evenings with his wife and their
15two Shih Tzus; he will be remembered for his quirky sense of
16humor and his big, giving heart; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ken Pamson was preceded in death by his wife; his
18parents; his brothers, Leonard Pamson and Jack Pamson; and his
19daughter, Judy Kreuger; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ken Pamson is survived by his children, Kenny

1Pamson (Pam Meeker), Tammy (Rocky) Justice, Deanna (Joe) Moye,
2Michael Pamson, Karen (Keith) Bell, and Kathy Tosh; his 16
3grandchildren; his 20 great-grandchildren; and his nieces and
4nephews; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Kenneth "Bobo" Pamson and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Ken Pamson as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
