SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Fredrick L. Mammen of Springfield, who
4passed away on July 30, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen was born in Ogle County to Lukie
6and Verdena (Terivili) Mammen on May 16, 1933; he married Rita
7A. Rodems on May 4, 1972; he served in the U.S. Army during the
8Korean War; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen worked as an engineer at AT&T,
10formerly known as Illinois Bell, until his retirement; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen was preceded in death by his
12parents and his brother, Elmer; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Fredrick Mammen is survived by his wife; his
14daughter, Kathy; his sons, Steve and Alan; his stepson, Pete;
15and his several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces,
16and nephews; therefore, be it
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
19Fredrick L. Mammen and extend our sincere condolences to his
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
