SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Harrilchak of Moline, who
4passed away on January 2, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Harrilchak was born in Yonkers, New York to
6Michael and Anna (Furtak) Harrilchak Sr. on July 21, 1944; he
7received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University in 1968;
8he earned his Master of Business Administration from
9Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1984; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bob Harrilchak served in the U.S. Navy and retired
11as a lieutenant commander in June of 1992; he worked as a
12contract specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal for 11 years
13until his retirement in April of 2019; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Bob Harrilchak was an avid hockey fan and enjoyed
15fishing, home improvements, and spending time with his family;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Bob Harrilchak was preceded in death by his
18parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Bob Harrilchak is survived by his children,
20Christopher Harrilchak and Sara (Ryan) Rodgers; his

1grandchildren, Sterling Rodgers and Hattie Rodgers; his
2brother, Michael Harrilchak Jr.; and his former wife, Sharon
3Harrilchak; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Robert "Bob" Harrilchak and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Bob Harrilchak as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
