SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Leroy "Lee" A. Webster of Springfield,
4who passed away on July 4, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lee Webster was born to Leroy Sr. and Marie
6(Pastrovich) Webster in St. Louis, Missouri on March 17, 1945;
7he served in the Air National Guard; and
 
8    WHEREAS, For 32 years, Lee Webster ran the successful
9Springfield restaurant Jolly Tamale, which started out as Taco
10Gringo; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lee Webster was a volunteer firefighter in
12Divernon for many years; he also served on the board of
13Divernon; he was strong, smart, loving and caring; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lee Webster is survived by his wife, Celeste
15Webster; and his son, Jason (Staci) Webster; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
18Leroy "Lee" A. Webster and extend our sincere condolences to
19his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
