SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Paul A. Ducatte of Englewood, Florida,
4formerly of Bloomington, who passed away on June 19, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte was born in Plattsburgh, New York to
6Leona Goslow Ducatte on April 1, 1937; he served in the U.S.
7Air Force from 1954 to 1958; he married Beverly Harms in
8Illinois on December 15, 1957; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte worked at a printing company in
10addition to a CB radio and gun sales shop in Bloomington until
111979; he moved to Englewood, Florida, where he was the owner
12and operator of Pelican Marine Construction Corporation from
131981 to 2003; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte was a member of the Loyal Order of
15Moose Lodge 2554, V.F.W. Post 10178, the American Legion Post
160103, and Amvets Post 0777; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte was preceded in death by his mother,
18Leona Ratta, and his brother, Ken; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte is survived by his wife of 62 years,
20Beverly; his daughter, Debbie Ducatte; his sisters, Pat Ives

1and Janice Foster; and his brother, Frank Ducatte; therefore,
2be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Paul A. Ducatte and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Paul Ducatte as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
