2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of James "Jim" Raymond Moore of Moline, who |
4 | | passed away on June 20, 2020; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Moore was born to Raymond and Sophia (Jensen) |
6 | | Moore in DeWitt on August 13, 1933; he graduated from Grand |
7 | | Mound High School in 1952; he served in the United States Army |
8 | | stateside during the Korean War and greatly enjoyed the Honor |
9 | | Flight to Washington DC several years ago; Jim married Karen |
10 | | (Lewis) Fariss in Bettendorf on February 22, 2003; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Upon being honorably discharged, Jim farmed and |
12 | | was a Transportation Driver for Case/IH until retirement; after |
13 | | his retirement from Case, he worked at the Rock Island Sale |
14 | | Barn until age 82; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Jim Moore was a farmer at heart who enjoyed all |
16 | | aspects of the farm, especially cattle; he loved time spent |
17 | | with his family and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Chicago |
18 | | Cubs; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Jim Moore was preceded in death by his parents; |
20 | | his infant son, Dirk Moore; his son-in-law, Tim Beranek; his |
21 | | grandson, Louis Beranek; his brothers, Raymond Moore, Jr. and |

10 | | Kyle (Cierra Wilder) Moore, Moriah Henning, Savanna Henning, |
