SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Laura M. O'Gorman of Chicago, who passed
4away on March 7, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Laura O'Gorman was born to Joseph and Patricia
6(Freet) Waynauskas in Chicago on January 20, 1956; she married
7Kevin E. O'Gorman and was a valued educator and friend to
8thousands of students, parents, teachers, and parishioners in
9the St. Bede Community; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Laura O'Gorman was preceded in death by her
11parents, Joseph and Patricia (Freet) Waynauskas; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Laura O'Gorman is survived by her husband, Kevin
13E. O'Gorman; her sons, Timothy (Katie) and Patrick (Katie)
14O'Gorman; her grandchildren, Finn and a yet unborn grandchild;
15her brother, Richard (Linda) Waynauskas; her sisters, Carol
16Waynauskas, Mary Schoenhofen and Therese (Michael) Stewart;
17and her cousin, nephews, and nieces, Susan (William) Kehoe,
18Sandra (Daniel) McCullough, Thomas Schoenhofen, Matthew
19Schoenhofen, Luke Schoenhofen, Maria Kehoe, Michael Kehoe,
20Margaret Kehoe, Richard Waynauskas, Joseph Waynauskas, and
21Brian Stewart; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Laura M. O'Gorman and extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Laura O'Gorman as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
