SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Vicki R. Galbreath, who passed away on
4February 6, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Vicki Galbreath was born to Marvin D. and Rozelle
6(Unruh) Huff in Wichita, Kansas on March 15, 1938; and
 
7    WHEREAS, In 1979, Vicki Galbreath and her husband Marc
8established Green Earth Greenhouses, a commercial growing
9operation in the field of horticulture, which is still in
10operation today; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Vicki Galbreath was a loving and committed
12homemaker and mother; she had many hobbies and a variety of
13skills and was dedicated to humble service through daily
14efforts and organized ministries; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Vicki Galbreath was preceded in death by her
16husband of over 47 years, Marc E. Galbreath; and her parents,
17Marvin D. and Rozelle (Unruh) Huff; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Vicki Galbreath is survived by her three sons, M.
19Steven (Patti) Galbreath, David A. (Sheila) Galbreath, and
20Michael S. Galbreath; her four granddaughters, Sarah

1Galbreath, Leah Galbreath, Danielle Galbreath, and Katelyn
2Galbreath; her great-grandchild, Kalvin Laubscher; and her two
3brothers, Michael (Janie) Huff and Patrick (Janel) Huff;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Vicki R. Galbreath and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Vicki Galbreath as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
