SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Abraham Anthony "Mickey" Brumleve of
4Urbana, who passed away on November 28, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Abraham Brumleve was born in Urbana to Timothy R.
6and Dorothy A. Brumleve on August 24, 1986; he attended Urbana
7High School, where he and his friends started the band Missing
8the Point; he graduated in 2004 from King George School in
9Sutton, Vermont and earned an associate's degree at Parkland
10College in Champaign; he graduated from the University of
11Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of
12Arts in German Linguistics; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Abraham Brumleve was skilled on a variety of
14instruments and enjoyed making music; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Abraham Brumleve was an aspiring martial artist;
16he was a coffee and tobacco aficionado and an advocate for
17marijuana law reform; he maintained a positive outlook on life
18and hope for the future; he was a very loving, kind person, who
19always thought of others before himself; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Abraham Brumleve was preceded in death by his
21parents; his grandparents; and one aunt; and

1    WHEREAS, Abraham Brumleve is survived by his siblings,
2Jacob Daniel Brumleve, Joseph Timothy Brumleve, William Scott
3Brumleve, and Catherine Rebecca Roland, and numerous extended
4family members and friends; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Abraham Anthony "Mickey" Brumleve and extend our sincere
8condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
9him; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Abraham Brumleve as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
