SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jason R. "Jake" Pruski of Sandwich, who
4passed away on July 29, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jake Pruski was born in Sandwich to Michael R. and
6Carol L. (Rogers) Pruski on February 21, 1972; he married
7Kristine M. Edwards in Sycamore on May 6, 2005; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Jake Pruski served as the Chief of the Sandwich
9Community Fire Protection District for three years and had been
10a member for over 30 years; he was a fire science instructor at
11Indian Valley Vocational Center and Waubonsee Community
12College; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jake Pruski was a carpenter at heart and loved to
14build furniture and countless other objects; he was a sports
15fan, and the Chicago Bulls and NASCAR were his favorites; his
16greatest joy was spending time with his friends and family,
17especially his children; he was a loving husband and an amazing
18father; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Jake Pruski was preceded in death by his
20grandparents, Earl and Vivian Rogers and Mike and Adelaide
21Pruski; and his uncle, Steven E. Rogers, DDS; and

1    WHEREAS, Jake Pruski is survived by his wife, Kristy; his
2parents; his children, Baleigh, Bridgett, Connor, and Ava
3Pruski; his brothers, Jeremy (Heather) Pruski and Jeff
4(Christy) Pruski; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and
5friends; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Jason R. "Jake" Pruski and extend our sincere condolences to
9his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Jake Pruski as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
