SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Daniel M. Pacenti of North Chicago, who
4passed away on May 28, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Daniel Pacenti was born in North Chicago to
6Americo and Rose Pacenti on September 13, 1930; he served in
7the United States Army during the Korean Conflict; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Daniel Pacenti worked at Abbott Laboratories as a
9Quality Assurance Analyst for many years; he served in North
10Chicago's local government for many years, first as the 5th
11Ward Alderman and then as the city treasurer; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Daniel Pacenti was a talented musician and played
13the accordion in his brother John's band at many weddings and
14parties; he was a loving husband and father; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Daniel Pacenti was preceded in death by his
16parents; his brothers, Tony Pacenti and John Pacenti; and his
17sisters, Mary Jensen and Ann Dowdy; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Daniel Pacenti is survived by his wife of 68
19years, Mary; his sons, Daniel (Deborah) Pacenti and David
20(Diane) Pacenti; his daughter, Eileen (James) Kinder; his

1sister, Helen Moran; his brother, Elmer (Rita) Pacenti; four
2grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Daniel M. Pacenti and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Daniel Pacenti as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
