| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Patricia E. "Pat" (Sheahan) Schanks of |
| 4 | | Bolingbrook, who passed away on July 13, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Pat Schanks was a lifelong resident of Bolingbrook |
| 6 | | and served her community in many capacities over the years; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Pat Schanks was preceded in death by her husband, |
| 8 | | Robert Schanks; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Pat Schanks was the loving sister of Edward |
| 10 | | Francis "Bud" (Carol) Sheahan; the cherished mother of Jeff |
| 11 | | (Pam), Jerry (Donna), Tim (Kathy), Joel, and Dan; the devoted |
| 12 | | grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of five; and the fond |
| 13 | | aunt of many; therefore, be it

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Patricia E. "Pat" Schanks and extend our sincere condolences to |
| 17 | | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
