SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Rodger J. Gulden, who passed away on July
49, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rodger Gulden was born to Hurbert and Mary Gulden
6on March 15, 1936; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Rodger Gulden was a dedicated marble layer; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Rodger Gulden was a member of the Holy Name
9Society and an active member of the St. Andrew the Apostle
10Parish Community; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Rodger Gulden was preceded in death by his wife,
12the former Mayor of Romeoville, Sandra Gulden; his parents; and
13his brother, Herbert Gulden; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Rodger Gulden is survived by his children, Cary
15(James) Love, Steve (Sharon) Gulden, and Andrew (Beth) Gulden;
16his grandchildren, Ryan, Dominick, and Stephanie; his
17sister-in-law, Connie (the late Wallace) Gulden; and many
18nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Rodger J. Gulden and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

6presented to the family of Rodger Gulden as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
