SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Terry Michael Anderson of Rock Island,
4who passed away on March 31, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Terry Anderson was born in Geneseo to Richard W.
6and Marcella Hubler Anderson on December 26, 1944; he graduated
7from AlWood High School in 1963 and married Peggy Johnson in
8Woodhull on September 4, 1965; he served in the U.S. Navy from
91966 to 1968; he later married Faye Moss Brody in Rock Island
10on April 29, 1989; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Terry Anderson worked most of his adult life as a
12Journeyman Electrician in the Quad-Cities area and was a member
13of the I.B.E.W. Local 145 of Rock Island; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Terry Anderson was a member of the Trinity
15Anglican Church and became a Deacon in March 2019; he spent
16many hours volunteering at the church and enjoyed playing
17senior softball, wintering in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and
18spending time with family and friends; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Terry Anderson was preceded in death by his
20parents and his brother, Tim; and

1    WHEREAS, Terry Anderson is survived by his wife, Faye; his
2children, Keith Brody Jr., Kelli (Randy Schwab) Morland,
3Kristin (Darren) Wight, and Matthew (Kristy) Anderson; his
4grandchildren, Trysten Brody, Ellie, Ava, and Maya Wight, and
5Preston and Makenzie Anderson; his brothers, Dennis (Janice),
6Mark, and Rick (Marcy) Anderson; and his sister, Trudy (Kelly)
7Atchison; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Terry Michael Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to
11his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Terry Anderson as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
