SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Eleanora Zdanowicz of Waukegan, who
4passed away on December 30, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz was born in Waukegan to Walter
6and Frances Rynkiewicz on September 22, 1926; she attended St.
7Therese Nursing School and married Walter Zdanowicz Sr. on May
88, 1948; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz worked as a registered nurse
10for doctor's offices and then at St. Therese Hospital until her
11retirement in 1985; and
 
12    WHEREAS, After retiring, Eleanora Zdanowicz served as
13secretary at St. Mary's in Mundelein and then St. Anastasia's
14Church in Waukegan; she and her husband enjoyed traveling and
15visited Africa, Europe, and Alaska; they especially enjoyed
16traveling through the U.S. to attend hot air balloon festivals;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz was preceded in death by her
19husband, Walter; her parents; her son, Joseph Andrew Zdanowicz;
20and her brothers, Walter (Rusty) and Carl (Frances) Rynkiewicz;

1    WHEREAS, Eleanora Zdanowicz is survived by her daughter,
2Janine Clavey; her son, Walter (Brenda) Zdanowicz Jr.; her
3granddaughters, Melissa Clavey and Tiffany Zdanowicz; her
4great-grandchildren, Henry, Omalynn, Racquel, Emilio, Robert,
5and Steven; and her sisters, Dora (Jack) Phillips and Jane
6(Ray) Norton; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Eleanora Zdanowicz and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Eleanora Zdanowicz as an expression
14of our deepest sympathy.
