6 | | WHEREAS, Although survival rates for most childhood |
7 | | cancers have improved in recent decades, there is still much |
8 | | work to be done; and

9 | | WHEREAS, Last year, at age 16, Nora Leonard was diagnosed |
10 | | with Hepatocellular Neoplasm, a common form of liver cancer; |
11 | | her parents, Kelly Leonard and Anne Libera, longtime creative |
12 | | executives at Second City, created the Twitter hashtag Team |
13 | | Nora as a way to send updates about her treatment; it quickly |
14 | | took off and found the support of actors, comedians, and |
15 | | politicians; from Tina Fey to Hillary Clinton, people across |
16 | | the United States and abroad sent selfies and tweets to show |
17 | | their support for Team Nora; and

18 | | WHEREAS, Team Nora has become not only a great way to |
19 | | support Nora in her fight against Hepatocellular Neoplasm but |
20 | | also a way to show children and teenagers across the United |
21 | | States that they are not alone in their fight against cancer; |
