SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Vincente Juarez of Oswego, who passed
4away on February 15, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez was born in Juarez, Mexico to
6Genoveva Martinez and Pablo Juarez on May 5, 1964; he married
7Leticia Lupercio in Geneva in 1981; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez was a fork lift operator at the
9Henry Pratt Company, where he had worked for the last 15 years;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez had a passion for working on cars
12with his sons and had a soft spot for a particular 1969 Chevy
13Impala; he could always be heard shouting out loud "Ay Mija"
14anytime the weather took a turn for the worst, all while
15comforting his family with laughs; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez was preceded in death by his
17father, Pablo Juarez and his brother, Mike Juarez; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Vincente Juarez is survived by his wife of 38
19years, Leticia; his children, Adrian, Diana, and Christian
20Juarez; his grandchildren, Osvaldo, Adrian Jr., Nathan, Dyani,

1Alize, Genesis, Zaydrian, and Eliana; his sisters, Florencia,
2Guadalupe, Maria, Petra, and Irene Juarez; and his brothers,
3Gabino, Pablo, and Aurelio Juarez; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Vincente Juarez and extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Vincente Juarez as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
