SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Thomas P. Grampovcnik of Beach Park, who
4passed away on July 30, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Grampovcnik was born in Waukegan to Peter
6and Shirley (Maciejewski) Grampovcnik on May 16, 1949; he
7graduated from Waukegan High School; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Thomas Grampovcnik worked as a steel worker for
9Liquid Controls in Lake Bluff; he went on to work for many
10years at Abbott Laboratories; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Thomas Grampovcnik was an avid outdoorsman and
12enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and bowling; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Thomas Grampovcnik was preceded in death by his
14parents and his son, Thomas Jr.; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Thomas Grampovcnik is survived by his son, Ted;
16his daughter, Heidi (Al) Manges; his son, Terry; six
17grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sister, Barbara Ginn;
18and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Thomas P. Grampovcnik and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Thomas Grampovcnik as an expression
7of our deepest sympathy.
