| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 11-101 as follows:
|

| 7 | | Sec. 11-101. Creation of fund. In each city of more than |
| 8 | | 500,000 inhabitants a Laborers' and

maintained and administered, in the manner prescribed in |
| 11 | | this Article, for
the benefit of the laborers and retirement |

designated, and their beneficiaries. |
