SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $4,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for grants to assist the Illinois Association of Court Appointed Special Advocates in its efforts to advocate for timely placement of children in permanent, safe, stable homes. Effective July 1, 2020.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $4,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for grants to assist the Illinois Association of Court Appointed Special Advocates in advocating for timely placement of children in permanent, safe, stable homes.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2020.
