AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2482 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2482 by replacing 
3line 19 on page 1 through line 10 on page 2 with the following:


 
4"into court-approved public or community service. The period of 
5public service necessary to satisfy the assessment shall be set 
6by the court, but in no event shall the hourly rate of the 
7public or community service performed by the defendant be 
8equivalent to less than the minimum wage of this State. The 
9court may adjust the hourly rate of public or community service 
10in accordance with this amendatory Act of the 101st General 
11Assembly for any mandatory assessments imposed between July 1, 
122019 and the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 101st 
13General Assembly One hour of public or community service shall 
14be equivalent to $4 of assessment. The performance of this 
15public or community service may shall be a condition of 
16probation, conditional discharge, or supervision and may shall 
17be in addition to the performance of any other period of public

3by replacing line 21 on page 2 through line 10 on page 3 with 
4the following:
