| 4 | | "Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 356z.33 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 356z.33. Coverage for epinephrine injectors. A group |
| 8 | | or individual policy of accident and health insurance or a |
| 9 | | managed care plan that is amended, delivered, issued, or |
| 10 | | renewed on or after January 1, 2021 the effective date of this |
| 11 | | amendatory Act of the 101st General Assembly shall provide |
| 12 | | coverage for medically necessary epinephrine injectors for |
| 13 | | persons 18 years of age or under. As used in this Section, |
| 14 | | "epinephrine injector" has the meaning given to that term in |
| 15 | | Section 5 of the Epinephrine Injector Act.
