SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates certain amounts from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for family and community services and related distributive purposes, including federal funds that are made available for grants and expenses associated with Parents Too Soon and the Healthy Families Program. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects hereinafter named, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for family and community services and related distributive purposes, including such federal funds as are made available by the federal government for the following purposes:
For grants and administration expenses
associated with Parents Too Soon............ $8,495,416
For grants and administrative expenses associated
with the Healthy Families Program.......... $12,414,884
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
