SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates various amounts from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for affordable housing costs. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Youthbuild Rockford for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Rockford, Illinois.
Section 10. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Youthbuild Mclean County for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in McLean County, Illinois.
Section 15. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Emerson Park Development Corp. for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in St. Clair County, Illinois
Section 20. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Youth Conservation Corps of Waukegan, Illinois for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Lake County, Illinois.
Section 25. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Youthbuild Lake County for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Lake County, Illinois.
Section 30. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the United Methodist Children’s Home/Spero Family Services of Mount Vernon, Illinois for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Jefferson County, Illinois.
Section 35. The sum of $125,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the United Methodist Children’s Home/Spero Family Services of Mount Vernon, Illinois for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Marion County, Illinois.
Section 40. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Youthbuild Quad Cities for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Rock Island, Illinois.
Section 45. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Youthbuild Building Futures, Lewis and Clark College for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Southern Illinois.
Section 50. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Youthbuild Metro Chicago, Metropolitan Family Services Program for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Chicago, Illinois.
Section 55. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Youthbuild Decatur, Homework Hangout Club Program for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Decatur, Illinois.
Section 60. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Youthbuild Chicago Heights, Community Youth Development Institute Program for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in south suburban Cook County, Illinois.
Section 65. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Youthbuild CDI, Youth Development Institute Program for costs associated with construction of affordable housing units in Chicago, Illinois.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
