SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $25,000 from the Roadside Monarch Habitat Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the development, enhancement and restoration of Monarch butterfly and other pollinator habitat.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $25,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Roadside Monarch Habitat Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for ordinary and contingent expenses related to the development, enhancement and restoration of Monarch butterfly and other pollinator habitat, including the spreading of milkweed seed along state-funded road construction projects.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
