AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2143

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2143 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    "Section 5. The sum of $3,450,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the purpose of providing a grant to the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Midwest Region office in Chicago to establish 2 mobile tolerance education centers.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.".
