SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs and expenses related to or in support of the Prairie Research Institute. Effective July 1, 2019.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The sum of $2,300,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs and expenses related to or in support of the Prairie Research Institute for the ongoing costs associated with the expansion of data collection and research capacity for the purpose of monitoring and identification of emerging contaminants of the Mahomet Aquifer.
Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
