applicant's eligibility and of |
2 | | providing the examination. Failure to
appear for the |
3 | | examination on the scheduled date at the time and place

4 | | specified after the applicant's application for examination |

received and acknowledged by the Department or the |
6 | | designated testing
service shall result in forfeiture of the |
7 | | examination fee.

8 | | (3) (Blank).

9 | | (4) The Department may employ consultants for the purpose |
10 | | of
preparing and conducting examinations.
|
11 | | (5) An applicant has one year from the date of notification |
12 | | of
successful completion of the examination to apply to the |
13 | | Department for a
license. If an applicant fails to apply within |
14 | | one year, the examination
scores shall be void and the |
15 | | applicant shall
be required to take and pass the examination |
16 | | again unless licensed in
another jurisdiction of the United |
17 | | States within one year of passing the
examination. |
18 | | (6) Applicants for a license as a licensed social worker |
19 | | enrolled in an approved program for a master's degree in social |
20 | | work may sit for the authorized examination for licensed social |
21 | | workers in the final semester of the program for a master's |
22 | | degree in social work without prior approval of the Department. |
23 | | The Department may adopt rules to administer this paragraph |
24 | | (6). Applicants for a license as a licensed social worker must |
25 | | still meet all requirements set forth in Section 9A.
