AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 458 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 458 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The School Code is amended  by adding Section 
514-7.02c as follows:
 
6    (105 ILCS 5/14-7.02c new)
7    Sec. 14-7.02c. Private therapeutic day schools; student 
8enrollment data. The Illinois Purchased Care Review Board must 
9accept amended student enrollment data from special education 
10private therapeutic day schools that have specialized 
11contractual agreements with a school district having a 
12population exceeding 500,000 inhabitants in the 2016-2017 and 
132017-2018 school years.  The amended student enrollment data 
14must be based on actual monthly enrollment days where a student 
15placed by the school district was formally enrolled and began 
16to receive services through the last date he or she was

1formally exited from the therapeutic day school.  All enrolled 
2days must be confined to the official beginning and end dates 
3of the therapeutic day school's official calendar on file with 
4the State Board of Education. In no instance may the amended 
5enrollment be further reduced to account for student absences. 
6A school district having a population of 500,000 or less 
7inhabitants must be billed at the per diem rate approved by the 
8Illinois Purchased Care Review Board based on days enrolled as 
9prescribed in Section 900.330 of Title 89 of the Illinois 
10Administrative Code.".
