HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the New Zion Missionary 
4Baptist Church of Carbondale as they celebrate 100 years of 
5serving their community; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The New Zion Missionary Baptist Church family has 
7made a positive impact in the lives of countless people; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The City of Carbondale and the surrounding area 
9will forever be a better place because of the work performed by 
10the dedicated staff, volunteers, and congregation that worship 
11at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The congregation of the New Zion Missionary 
13Baptist Church firmly believes that the greatest way to serve 
14is to serve others; therefore, be it
  
 

  
15    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
16HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
17we congratulate the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church on the 
18occasion of its 100th anniversary celebration; and be it

20    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
