HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Charles 
4Anthony "Chuck" Lomanto of Chicago, who passed away on October 
55, 2019; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Chuck Lomanto was born on October 4, 1954; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, From 1976 until 2003, Chuch Lomanto worked as the 
8General Foremen of Truck Drivers for the Department of Streets 
9and Sanitation for the City of Chicago, a position he held for 
1027 years; from 1995 until 2012, he served as the Chief of Staff 
11to Alderman Richard Mell, a position he held for 18 years; from 
121995 until 2013, he  was also the president and co-owner of the 
13Bi-Partisan Sign Company; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Chuck Lomanto was a force in Chicago politics for 
15many years; he loved his family and enjoyed spending time on 
16his Harley Davidson motorcycle;  and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Chuck Lomanto was the cherished husband of 
18Kathleen "Kitty" (Brcich) Lomanto, the beloved father of Erica 
19and Anthony, the fond son-in-law of Loraine Schone, and the 
20trusted companion of Charlie, the family Labrador; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we mourn the passing of Charles Anthony "Chuck" Lomanto and 
4extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all 
5who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Chuck Lomanto as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
