HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Bridgett
4Ladonna Ersery; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery was born in Chicago to Bonita and
6Anthony Ersery on January 9, 1974; she attended Beethoven and
7Fort Dearborn Elementary Schools; she graduated from Chicago
8Vocational High School (CVS), where she was part of the "Outlaw
9Posse", and the Cannella School of Hair Design; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery briefly worked for South Central
11Community Service as a daycare provider; she also worked for
12the Department of Children and Family Services as an
13administrative assistant in the Services Quality Assistance
14Division; she had a passion for children and took great joy in
15nurturing the next generation and caring for children as if
16they were her own; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery was very sociable and was part of
18several organizations; she was president of the alumni
19committee for her 1992 high school reunion class; she was
20outgoing and supportive of others; she tried to never miss a
21CVS gathering and would always show up with a smile; and

1    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery was the oldest of three children
2and often the loudest, making sure her presence was known; she
3was known to be the first one at the table when bid whist was
4announced; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery's mom, Bonita, took great care of
6her while working a fulltime job for over 25 years for the
7Human Resources Development Institute; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Bridgett Ersery is survived by her parents; her
9sister, Tawana Ersery; her brother, John Jones Ersery; and
10numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and
11friends; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
13HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14we mourn the passing of Bridgett Ladonna Ersery and extend our
15sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
16and loved her; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Bridgett Ersery as an expression of
19our deepest sympathy.
