SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates the amount of $45,000,000 from the Capital Projects Fund to the Illinois Housing Development Authority for 3 non-competitively awarded grants. Effective July 1, 2020.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $45,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Projects Fund to the Illinois Housing Development Authority for grants in the following amounts to create affordable housing apartments for LGBTQ youth, adults, and senior citizens:
To Christian Community Health Center......... $15,000,000
To the Puerto Rican Cultural Center.......... $15,000,000
To Brothers Health Collective in
cooperation with Project Vida.............. $15,000,000
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2020.
