| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Safe Bottled Water Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 50 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (410 ILCS 655/50)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 50. Testing laboratories. |
| 8 | | (a) All testing of bottled water, bottled
water sources,
|
| 9 | | water distributed by water haulers, water from retail water |
| 10 | | facilities,
and water from vending machines must be done by |
| 11 | | competent laboratories
approved by the Department or another |
| 12 | | state's regulatory agency.
|
| 13 | | (b) A test administered under this Act shall be made |
| 14 | | available to the public upon request. |
