Amends the Public Water Supply Regulation Act. Provides that, when testing water, public water supplies shall test for endocrine-disrupting chemicals, including androgen and estrogen receptor compounds. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Public Water Supply Regulation Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 9 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (415 ILCS 40/9 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 9. Endocrine-disrupting chemical testing. When |
| 8 | | testing water, a public water supply shall test for |
| 9 | | endocrine-disrupting chemicals, including, but not limited to, |
| 10 | | androgen and estrogen receptor compounds.

| 11 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 12 | | becoming law.
