2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Urgent |
5 | | Care Price Transparency Act. |
6 | | Section 5. Definitions. In this Act, "urgent care" means |
7 | | the delivery of ambulatory medical care outside of a hospital |
8 | | emergency department on a walk-in basis without a scheduled |
9 | | appointment. |
10 | | Section 10. Posting requirements. A facility that provides |
11 | | urgent care, whether or not the facility is owned or operated |
12 | | by a hospital licensed under the Hospital Licensing Act or |
13 | | organized under the University of Illinois Hospital Act, must |
14 | | post and make available the prices for the top 10 procedures or |
15 | | treatments that the facility regularly performs.
