Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Revenue shall not require a taxpayer, whether an individual, not-for-profit, or other business entity, to collect and furnish to the Department individual tax identification information from vendors that participate in an event hosted or sponsored by the taxpayer. Effective immediately.

4 | | Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the

6 | | 2505-805 as follows: |

8 | | Sec. 2505-805. Collection of individualized tax |
9 | | identification data. The Department shall not require a |
10 | | taxpayer, whether an individual, not-for-profit, or other |
11 | | business entity, to collect and furnish to the Department |
12 | | individual tax identification information from vendors that |
13 | | participate in an event hosted or sponsored by the taxpayer.

14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
15 | | becoming law.
