SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $1,329,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for payments to satisfy all unprocessed or pending claims for funeral or burial expenses that were submitted to the Department’s Funeral and Burial Unit during State Fiscal Year 2016. Effective July 1, 2020.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $1,329,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for payments to satisfy all unprocessed or pending claims for funeral or burial expenses that were submitted to the Department’s Funeral and Burial Unit during State Fiscal Year 2016.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2020.
