SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority to create a grant program for community groups and organizations working with youth and young adults for violence prevention activities. Effective July 1, 2019.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority to create a grant program for community groups and organizations working with youth and young adults for violence prevention activities.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
