Amends the Department of Veterans' Affairs Act of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Veterans' Affairs shall provide an annual update to municipalities detailing any non-profit organizations' or federal, State, or local governments' programs or benefits regarding job preferences that are available to veterans.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Veterans' Affairs Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 38 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 2805/38 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 38. Job program update. The Department shall provide |
| 8 | | an annual update to municipalities detailing any non-profit |
| 9 | | organizations' or federal, State, or local governments' |
| 10 | | programs or benefits regarding job preferences that are |
| 11 | | available to veterans.
