SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Program for the purpose of establishing 50 after-school programs in 50 disadvantaged communities where the household income is greater than 95% of the poverty guidelines updated periodically in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Effective July 1, 2019.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $50,000,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Program for the purpose of establishing 50 after-school programs in 50 disadvantaged communities where the household income is greater than 95% of the poverty guidelines updated periodically in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the authority of 42 U.S.C. 9902(2).
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
