SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $30,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for grants, on an emergency basis, to at-risk not-for-profit organizations for eligible security improvements that assist the organization in preventing, preparing for, or responding to acts of terrorism. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $30,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for grants, on an emergency basis, to at-risk not-for-profit organizations for eligible security improvements that assist the organization in preventing, preparing for, or responding to acts of terrorism.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
