| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 3.08 as follows:

| 6 | | (410 ILCS 625/3.08 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3.08. Use of latex gloves prohibited. |
| 8 | | (a) A food service establishment may not permit employees |
| 9 | | to use latex gloves in the preparation and handling of food. |
| 10 | | (b) To encourage compliance, a food service establishment |
| 11 | | shall receive a notification of warning for the first violation |
| 12 | | of this Section.
