| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Veterans' Affairs Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 2.06 as follows:
|

| 7 | | Sec. 2.06.
The
The Department shall make reasonable rules |
| 8 | | and
regulations to govern the admission, maintenance, and |
| 9 | | discharge
of residents of the Illinois Veterans Homes |
| 10 | | consistent
with the spirit and provisions of Sections 2.01 |
| 11 | | through 2.06.
Whenever an applicant is admitted, the Department |
| 12 | | shall
notify him or her of such rules and regulations. |
